Bitcoin Cash is a Bitcoin FORK, ostensibly to fix on-chain capacity. It is promoted as a solution to Bitcoin's scaling problem. Although protocol updates are being taken from Bitcoin Core, it will not include Segwit. Despite the name, it is just an altcoin.
